Polka dots were quite in trend back in the 1950s and who would not want to visit the same era again. Fashion keeps on changing and evolving and it often brings back the trends that were common and trendy way back in the past.

Polka dot dresses can never be out of fashion as it gives off a very sweet look whenever it is worn on a particular occasion.

The tone of the dress is gorgeous and perfect for any season or event. It can be worn on a vintage themed party that represents the classy era of the 1950’s. The most striking feature about the dress is its unique, delicate and intricate neckline that can be used for a chunky necklace.

The dress has a zip at the back that makes it easier for people to take it off easily. If you are already done with your hairdo then slipping into this dress is not a problem for you because the zipper at the back makes it extremely easy.

The dress is available in yellow and light blue color. Yellow is a welcoming color and it automatically has an impact on the viewer that you can be approached and can be involved in a conversation.
The spaghetti strap makes the dress look beautiful and delicate and fragile body. Similarly, the light blue color also looks aesthetically appealing especially if the dress is worn in summers. Light pastel and cool colors should always be your first option.

The material used to make the dress is cotton which can be worn in any season. It can be ironed and taken care of easily as compared to a silk dress.
Cotton is the most comfortable and easy to wear you can come across especially during hot and humid weather or season like summers. It is designed specifically for casual parties and the fitting of the dress is perfect for slim and smart people. It will make your curves look appealing as the dress stick perfectly to your body.

Five different sizes are available in this dress that includes small, medium, large, extra-large and double extra-large size. This means that the dress can be worn by anyone, provided that you have the same measurements. The measurements of the dress are in centimeters so make sure you take your measurements before you place your order. A white stiletto or a wedge is the perfect shoe that you can wear with it.

Let's《back to basics》
This is Christina Aguilera Makes Me Wanna Pray

Lately, I’ve been receiving questions about how I edit my photos and my friends always send me their photos to edit as well.

So today, I’m going to show you exactly how to perfect that vintage edit to any photo. Here are some tips and tricks to make your photos look like they’re from another age.

  • Simple filters are a great way to start.

Today, smartphone cameras are the best cameras many people have ever had – and they allow for pretty serious photography. Elaborate filters aren’t that important anymore since there isn’t much left to obscure. But it’s still fun to use a vintage optic that gives photos a special look.

  1. Use Faded Colours
  2. Black and White
  3. Photo Editing Apps

Tip: Shoot as much content as possible in NATURAL LIGHT!

Maintain Good Posture

In the early 20th Century girls were carefully instructed in the art of deportment. Maybe, it looks ridiculous in some ways, which has real value.
It is said that good posture can help you lose weight. More importantly, it boosts vitality, confidence, and health.

Who could have ever thought that the 1940s were very fashionable? The 1940’s openwork mesh stitching dress is the best example you can ever get of what fashion was like back in the 1940s.
It is modern, classy and extremely trendy even today. The black dress has a see-through of the shoulder with a concealed zipper at the back. The zipper helps people in wearing and taking off the dress easily without any hassle.

The dress is short in length and is likely to reach the knee only. Black is the color that signifies darkness, elegance, sophistication, formality, and exclusiveness in the fashion industry. People who love black would know what a black dress means to them.

The long sleeves black dress makes it suitable for any sort of event like cocktail parties, wedding parties, Halloween, prom might, formal occasions or even a simple get together at a night club. If you own this black dress then you are ready to conquer the world.

However, the material used to create the dress is polyester, therefore, avoid ironing it with a very hot iron. Moreover, it is advised that the dress should be hand washed rather than washing it in the washing machine. Avoid soaking the dress in the water for a long period of time as the cloth is fragile and excessive exposure to washing detergents can damage the dress permanently.

The bow on the neck gives off a very nice finishing to the neckline. You no longer have to wear chunky necklaces with this dress. A black stiletto should be a perfect combination as it can help you in completing your look. What else you would expect as a fashion?
The dress is extremely beautiful and it can look more appealing if you pair it up with a striking red lip color. Red and black together make a lethal combination after all. The dress is a quite amazing thing as it’s a preference for many wardrobes around.

It is also available in 5 different sizes that include small, medium, large, extra-large, and double extra-large. It is better to place an order of the size that can fit you perfectly or is nearest your measurements. An ill-fitted dress is every girl’s nightmare especially if the dress is to be worn on a very special day. A nice gold or plain black stud with curls or beach waves is the look you have been dreaming of.

The fashion aesthetics of the 1980s is really worth mentioning. It is an era of unconventional and fashion liberation.

The shoulder-shoulder suit + wide-brimmed hat is the most popular fashion image of the 80s.

The TV series is over, but the 60s elegant woman of Beth is still staying my heart.

The grass-green small suite has a large bow on the neckline, and a headband of the same color is attached to the head. The lady is elegant.

The accessories on the whole body are all in one color with the main body of the clothes.Plus size women could learn from her.

The Midi Skirt is a piece with its own vintage attributes. Thanks to the two world wars, it is suitable for women to go out to work, bid farewell to the gorgeous and long dresses of the 19th century, and to comfort the souls of war-torn suffering with elegant shapes and materials.
The proportion of the lower body is lengthened, which perfectly covers the shortcomings of the wide leg and the thick leg, revealing the slimmer part of the calf.

The Roaring Twenties were the time to rebel against persisting norms of society and uphold character development and western culture. There was innovation, uniqueness, and entirely different fashion style which took birth.

The Gatsby-Era sparkled with glamorous parties, an eventful social circle, and a lavish lifestyle. Thus today, when a Gatsby-themed party is thought of, classic vibes, luxury, and elegance are must-haves!

Gatsby-themed weddings have been in trend for quite a long time, and they don’t seem to be exiting any soon. When going to such a wedding, the most important question pops up – What to wear?

For Women
Women’s fashion took a major turn in the 20s, with newer styles to enhance and uphold femininity. Flapper-style dresses became a famous choice for parties and other events. These are short, knee-length dresses usually embellished with hanging beads and sequins, thereby allowing making a grand entrance. It is upon the wearers choice whether they be loosely-fitted to allow greater motion (weddings and their dances!), or be figure-hugging, to complement the body shape. Though sporting a variety of colors, black flapper dresses were greatly opted for, owing to their elegant vibe. Pair it up with a beret, or a feathery headpiece, and matching laced gloves, and your look just got accentuated to an entirely different level.

For those who do not wish to wear knee-length dresses, long dresses, such as ankle-length could also be opted for. Especially net, laced dresses are quite a fashionable choice for women, displaying traces of the skin beneath, and beautiful patterns on the net above. Gowns are another royal choice, bound to make a statement. This attire can be in any color, with champagne being a choice for many. Pair it up with a fancy capelet, or a fur shawl, and you are bound to be a head-turner. Also, don’t forget to don stiletto heels, and a great attitude for major 20s nostalgia feels.

For Men

With formal events comes the evergreen tuxedo. Pin-striped, or of a plain solid color, with a button-down shirt underneath, this classy look speaks volumes for one’s personality. Pair it up with the oh-so-necessary bowtie, and subtle cufflinks, and you stand out of the crowd, grasping all attention. Those opting for a more Peaky Blinders vibe can choose longer coats instead, and a fedora to complete the look. Desire a much casual look instead? A formal pant shirt, preferably black and white, with suspenders is the attire to go for.

With a variety of choices, and the fashion of the 1920s as a benchmark, there is no need to ponder upon what to wear if a Gatsby-themed wedding comes up. Any of these choices and you are going to stun.

How beautiful is the polka dot?Put on the simplest polka-dot elements, you can have a retro girllike elegance and playful.

These retro gift ideas are perfect for the friend who was born in the wrong era.

There are plenty of options for a friend of yesteryear. For the retro fan and photography buff, for instance, there are instant filter camera lenses, vintage film-saving gadgets, and retro camera USBs. For the gamer, you can opt for something like retro timber gaming options or vintage gamer desk lights.

Then there's the fashionista. If you have a pal that prefers to dress like he/she is from a different decade (be it the 40s, 50s, 60s or 70s), you can gift them with a cute accessory from their preferred time period. Think archival rounded sunglasses, retro binder iPad protectors and retro radio purses. All of these retro gift ideas are sure to get the nostalgia flowing!

The 1960s were an age of fashion innovation for women. The early 1960s gave birth to drainpipe jeans and capri pants, which were worn by Audrey Hepburn. The casual dress became more unisex and often consisted of plaid button-down shirts worn with slim blue jeans, comfortable slacks, or skirts.

There’s always one old soul trapped in the body of a human being living in the 21st century who enjoys things from the time before. These are the people who will throw a 1920s birthday themed party, and invite you overdressed up in vintage.

Choosing an outfit from 1920’s used to be hard before but not anymore. Thanks to online series like Peaky Blinders, Boardwalk Empire and a number of films set back in the 20’s time period, we have a lot of fashion inspiration to look at and can decide our own costume for a Gatsby-themed birthday party.

1920’s was the era of fashion with modesty for all. If you were to travel back to the twenties you would probably see women dressed up in long and dresses mostly below the knees with a slight tug around the waist.
Men, on the other hand, wore suits to work and on casual days out as well, they would be well dressed from head to toe. The male community wore hats and caps where the rich and upperclassmen wore hats ranging from Fedora hats, Boater hats, Gambler hats, and Derby hats and the young boys or lower classmen wore Newsboy caps and Flat caps.

So if you’re looking for tips and suggestions for costumes belonging from the twenties to attend a Gatsby-themed birthday party, there are specific sets of guidelines which if you follow will lead you to slay in your costume at the party.

Guidelines for the ladies:

Ladies, you need to loosen up. Ditch your tight crop tops and short skirts and bring out the shapeless dresses that you’ve shoved way back in your closet. In the 20’s women wore loose, shape-less and simple dresses which allowed them to easily move about the house and do chores outside the house as well.
For a party dress from the 1920’s you need to make sure that your dress has lots of fringes and sequins on it. It can be sleeveless too if you want to look a little fancy for the night. If you can arrange for feathers and a beady scarf, that’ll be perfect.
For accessories, you need to think of diamonds and pearls. Necklaces and earrings should be shining with big stones of diamonds and pearls around the neck will go along with the simplicity of the dress. Lastly adding a feather boa will be the ideal 1920’s touch.

Guidelines for men:

Where women reveled in their party dresses, men dashed up in their dinner jackets and suits. Solid colored suits like white or stripes and plaid suits we more appreciated in the twenties. Oh and don’t forget the hats too.
For a more casual looking outfit, you can go for button-down shirts with suspenders and caps like mentioned above. You can also take things to another level dressing up in a handsome looking tuxedo.

Imagine creating a rustic vintage wedding that has the two of you written all over it. In just a few minutes a day. A cool, rustic vintage vibe weaved throughout, all wrapped in a warm, intimate family glow.
Recently, I have collected some Vintage Rustic Wedding pictures, which can be used as a reference.
